About the 'Hubs':
At Ascent we strongly believe in the quote that 'Well begun is half Done' and this is why a new initiative has been undertaken by us, which is called as 'Career hubs'. Here we acknowledge the fact that along with the graduate level education; a lot of parallel aspects play a vital role in a student’s life. Every student wishes to follow his/ her passion and aspires to pursue a career in their respective choice of stream.

We are of the opinion that these desires of students have to be understood, appreciated and nurtured.

Thus, in order to encourage these dreams we have established a career hub in our institute. This Career Hub is tailored to each individual needs and specialization and here we aim to provide the students with professional guidance, numerous resources and special attention, so that they will be able to pursue and achieve their goals.

1. Government Service Hubs:

There are numerous students in our society who wish to contribute and work for the betterment of the society through a Government Job. This is a great deed and we do support and appreciate their ambition. This is why at Ascent we have introduced a Government Service Hub (G.S Hub), where these students will be provided with special session to study for their future and such competitive exams right from their First year, so that they get a lot of time and are well prepared for it. Along with it we also have made provisions and are in contact with UPSC, MPSC aspirants and officers, who will be giving seminars and sessions to sharing their struggles and stories, and guide our students in regards with the preparations, planning and other aspects.

2. Research Hub:

The degree and the program for Bachelor of Science is designed in such a way that, it covers a huge portion in various fields, and teach numerous fundamental and advanced concepts of the science. Research field is a very well respected field, and there are numerous students who aspire to pursue it. Thus at this Research Hub (R. S Hub), we provide separate sessions and time for students to choose their field of expertise and study in it. Special seminars will also be held for those students so that they know about the current status of research that is going on in the world and other advance technology and streams where they have scope to work and excel.

3. Placement Hub:

There are students who aim to have a stable and respectable job, in a private sector. For this practical knowledge and hands on practice is very necessary. We have signed MOU’s with different private organisations, so that our students get an opportunity to complete their internship in these reputed organisations and also get a chance to work for them after their graduation. Along with this special personality development courses, soft-skill and aptitude training will be conducted and special sessions will be allotted for the students under the Placement Hub (P. M Hub) so that they can prepare themselves in a better way for this opportunity.

4. Entrepreneurship Hub:

Every individual has his/ her own passion to follow. We do acknowledge this fact that not everyone wishes to have a steady job. There are ambitious students who wish to work for themselves and become entrepreneurs. Through this Entrepreneurship Hub (E. P Hub) we aim to provide the students with necessary time so that they get to work on their plans, and also provide guidance from trained individuals and professionals from this field, so that they don’t make mistakes and are set on the right track.
